Who are we?

The Oxygenbar Bar is a funky and fairly unknown concept in healthy entertainment so don't delay to test this amazing concept with your next event. We are based in Krugersdorp, but service the bigger Johannesburg and Pretoria region.
Our bar is serviced by a bar-man who attends to each patron indivually during the session. Each user determines how long they want to breathe oxygen and sessions are either 5, 10 or 20 minutes in duration.
In booking your bar, we offer two rental options:
Option 1. You require an unlimited and exclusive use of the O2 Bar service full a specified duration. Your patrons will not be paying for any services and the fee structure is fixed regardless of the number of patrons utilising the service. The cost is determined by the number of guests and the duration you require the service to be exclusively available to your guests.
Option 2. Breathe O2 Bar rents 4x5 m2 of floor space from you for the event. The bar doesn't cost your establishement anything and you are earning a rental income with the additional attraction! The bar is then open to all patrons and they will be paying on an individual Pay-per-session basis.

Are Oxygen bars legal?

Oxygen bars have been in operation in many parts of the world for years. In most countries the health authorities have not evaluated the oxygen bar industry, therefore have not approved or rejected the use of oxygen bars. NO medical equipment is used and we advises anyone who is prescribed medical oxygen by a doctor to not use the oxygen bar. The use of the bar is at own risk.
There are currently 100’s of oxygen bars operating legally in many parts of the world in several different industries including tanning salons, nightclubs, hotels, malls, restaurants, casinos, juice and coffee bars, cruise ships, hair salons and spas.

Where do you get the oxygen?

The oxygen used with oxygen bars come from completely self-contained machines called oxygen concentrators which extracts the oxygen from the surrounding air. These non-medical concentrators use a technology called PSA (Pressure Awing Absorption), a NASA created technology that filters out Nitrogen, Argon and other trace gases from the ambient air increasing the oxygen content from 21% to 92% purity. The oxygen enriched air gets delivered to the oxygen bar patron through a nasal cannula and the Nitrogen and other gases get released back into the atmosphere. Each user will receive their own new and sterile nasal cannula which is dispersed after use.
